Algarve Buggy Tours

Our Algarve buggy tours are a fantastic chance to get off the beaten track in every sense of the phrase! Only 2 minutes of the buggy tours are on tarmac then you're off exploring hill side tracks, woodland trails and dry riverbeds. You'll discover hidden parts of the Algarve on a route carefully planned to make the most of its wild beauty with outstanding scenery, spectacular views and interesting flora and fauna. Do bring a camera as there'll be time to pause for photos or just to drink in the views.

Each buggy tour starts with a brief introduction to the buggies, their handling and safety dos and don'ts and you are accompanied by a friendly and experienced guide. Be prepared in the winter you can get muddy and in the summer dusty which is all part of the fun!

The tours use 500cc all terrain buggies. These buggies are robust, safe and easy to drive with automatic gearbox, protection cage and safety harness- just the thing for a little offroad exploration! No previous buggy driving experience is required but you must have a driving license if you are going to drive. Each buggy can take 2 people so you can opt to drive alone or to bring a passenger.

A 2 hr Algarve buggy tour costs €120 per buggy (with one or two people onboard). Longer trips are also available please contact to discuss a tailor made Algarve buggy tour.

The Algarve buggy tours are based near Silves, a rural area just inland of Portimao. Silves itself is a pretty, medieval town that is famous for its castle so you can easily make a day of it or keep non-buggying members of your party entertained
