Come and try your hand at coastal or big game fishing in Lagos in our well equipped boat!

The Lagos fishing boat and crew

The 33ft boat has 500HP, a cruising speed of 22 knots and a permit to sail 25 miles off shore so you can get to the deeper waters.

With Shimano Tiagra and Penn Senator rills, a fighting chair and a set of outriggers it has everything you need to do battle . As well as onboard bar, toilet, TV and the latest electronic gear such as 2 VHF radio-telephones, fishfinder, GPS, radar and automatic pilot.

You will be accompanied by expert, local skipper and crew with a wealth of experience and knowledge of these waters. They are dedicated to helping you make the most of your fishing trip and are always there to advise you and lend a hand.

All levels are welcome including experienced fishermen/women, families and novices. The boat is available for private charters or for public trips. It has a maximum capacity for 8 people. Spectators are welcome and we sometimes meet shoals of wild dolphins during our trips.

The fishing in the Algarve

The Algarve has rich fishing grounds. Big game fish especially blue shark, mako shark and hammerhead but also sometimes marlin and tuna provide the sports fisherman with a good challenge. Meanwhile bottom fishing results in an excellent variey of fish all year round and the opportunity to catch something for the barbecue!

Public fishing trips from Lagos are €45pp (bottom fishing) or €70pp (big game). Discounts available for spectators. There is also a €5pp fishing license charge payable. Private shark fishing charters start from €500.
