Big Game Fishing in Vilamoura

Vilamoura is known worldwide as a top big game fishing destination and is particularly renowned for its sharks. Here you may catch Blue Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks and Mako as well as Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Swordfish, Tuna and Bonito to name just a few. Our full day big game fishing trip lasts 6 hours, usually departing at either 9am or 10am and returning at 3pm or 4pm

Our 13.5m, 335hp yacht was specially built for big game fishing and comes equipped with all the necessary fishing and navigation equipment and two big game fishing 'battle chairs'! The yacht takes 20 people so you can book it as a party or book alone and meet other big game fishing enthusiasts from across the globe.

There are also special fishing trips to target specific species such as sharks or tuna and dourado. The height of the big game fishing season is in the summer: June to September but if you would like to go at another time please contact us to discuss the options.

Family fishing in Vilamoura

Our family fishing day is designed to combine fishing with a cruise along the Algarve’s coastline taking in its golden beaches, impressive rock formations and red sandstone cliffs and intriguing caves. If you're lucky you may even see some dolphins. Ideal for people who'd like to try their hand at fishing or families where some members want to fish and others would prefer to just relax in the sunshine and enjoy the scenery. There will also be a dinghy ride inside the caves. On hot days we'll anchor so you have the chance to take a refreshing dip in the sea

We can also arrange a version of this trip which also includes a barbecue on the beach and kayaking and is €50 to fish or €40 for spectators.

Reef fishing in Vilamoura

Our Skipper truly knows these waters and with his patience and guidance this is a fun and rewarding fishing trip for beginners and regular fishermen/women alike. From our yacht you can catch a variety of reef fish including Sea Bream, Groupa, Horse Mackerel, Red Sea Bream, Mackerel, Small Conger, Sole, Moray eel and more. We offer 3, 4.5 hour and 6 trips reef fishing off Vilamoura.
