Evora Bike and Hike

Walk along the fantastic «Silver Water» Aqueduct, a 16th century engineering work of art! Enjoy easy going paths with scenic view of small farms and aromatic herb patches. Mid way we stop for a drink at a traditional farmhouse, where we will pick up our bikes and cycle back to Evora by way of an easy ecotrail. Getting in to town we’ll take you through Évora’s unique historical centre and follow the aqueduct inside the city walls, through the narrow and white streets. Come on a walking and biking tour around the history of Évora!

Enchanted Megaliths

Starting in Guadalupe, we will cycle through the green area of Valverde, among some of the most emblematic megalithic monuments – the cromlech and the menhir of Almendres (more than 5000 years old!) and the big dolmen of Zambujeiro are amongst the most important in the Iberian Peninsula. Along the way we will make a quick stop for a bite of local cheese and chorizos and, of course, a delicious glass of wine!
