Arrabida Kayak Tour with pickup from Lisbon

Arrabida is a beautiful area to kayak with a dramatic coastline. A typical day on the kayak tour would start at 9.30am with collection from your hotel in Lisbon (if required). You’d arrive in the village of Azeitão at approximately 10.30am. We usually allow clients an hour there to stretch their legs after the journey, explore the village and buy a picnic at the bakery.

There will then be a short briefing on how to use the kayaks and safety precautions before the kayak tour starts at around 11.30am and finish at around 4.45pm, so you’d arrive back in Lisbon at around 5.45pm.

The tour will be led by an experienced and knowledgeable guide who will take you all along the coast in and out of the rock formations and past secluded beaches and coves and will point out interesting features of the landscape, flora and fauna and historical sites as you pass.

The rate for the tour is €80/person.

The price includes the guided tour, use of the kayaks, paddles, life jackets, a drink and typical Portuguese pastry and a bottle of water, transport from Lisbon, insurance and taxes. It does not include lunch- usually we take people to the market and bakery to get a picnic of your choice.
