Madeira Jeep Safari – Full-day tour – The Fascinating West
Our Jeep Safari to the amazing west starts in Lugar de Baixo, situated in the south coast of the Island.
We follow the road to Lombo do Mouro, Bica da Cana and Santa, three viewpoints with fantastic views over the Island. Our next stop will be in Porto Moniz, one of the best known and visited cities in Madeira, being the volcanic rock swimming pools its main attraction. We will pass in Chão da Ribeira, surrounded by the Laurissilva Forest, it’s a town located in a valley overlooking the Seixal parish.
Last stop will be in Serra d’água, situated in the southwest part of the island and named for its watermills used for sawmilling.

Madeira Jeep Safari – Half-day Tour -Nun’s Valley and Sea Cliff
We begin our Jeep Safari in Câmara de Lobos, a fishing village, one of Winston Churchill’s greatest passions, and once we get there you will find out why. We follow the road, passing by Campanário, name given by the explorers due to the tall islet unsusual shape, resembling a bell tower, and by Lugar da Serra at approximately 713 meters above sea level. We continue our tour towards Jardim da Serra, with a fantastic view over the Nun’s valley. Last stop will be in Boca da Corrida viewpoint at 1000 meters high, with breathtaking views over Curral das Freiras and the central mountain range.

We begin our Jeep Safari in Câmara de Lobos, a fishing village, one of Winston Churchill’s greatest passions, and once we get there you will find out why. Full-day tour Jeep Safari to the north coast, are you ready for the trip? We start at São Vicente on the north coast of the island. Ponta Delgada is our next stop, an charming village near the sea, with beautiful ocean and mountain views. Before we arrive to Santana, famous for its traditional Madeira houses with triangular shape, we pass by São Jorge in the extreme north of the Island. We follow the road to Faial and then to Poiso where you will find a very cozy restaurant, specialty in winter it will be the best place for you to get warm.

Madeira Jeep Safari – Full-day Tour – The Amazing South
Full day tour Jeep Safari to see the best of the South will be a trip to remember. First stop will be in Paul da Serra, Madeira’s most extensive plateau with approximately 24km2, surrounded by a luxuriant nature. Let’s visit Ponta do Pargo, located on the extreme west coast, with beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean. Next, the fishing village Paul do Mar, famous for Surf (considered the Hawai of Europe) and for its breathtaking sunset. We follow the road to Jardim do Mar, Calheta known for its Sugar Cane factory producing aguardente and honey. Last stop will be in Ponta do Sol (sun point), famous for its good weather conditions and for the amazing sunset.

Our tour begins in Pico do Areeiro viewpoint at 1818 meters with a breathtaking view.
We go towards Ribeiro Frio and the noted trout hatchery. Santana is our next visit, a city well known for its traditional houses.
Following the road along the north coast, we visit Porto da Cruz, Portela viewpoint at 670 meters and Machico wherein 1419 the Portuguese navigators first landed.
We return to Funchal passing by Camacha famous for its wickerwork warehouse.

Our tour begins at the Pico das Torres where we can see the most fantastic view over the bay of Câmara de Lobos.
After this visit, we will go towards Ribeira Brava, a pleasant seaside town. Following to the north coast, we will pass Encumeada viewpoint at 1007 meters, where we can see the north and south coast.
While driving to Porto Moniz, one of the best known and visited cities in Madeira, being the volcanic rock swimming pools its main attraction. Here we stop for lunch.
We still have time to visit the fantastic and unique plateau of the island, Paul da Serra at 1400 meters, as we descend to the southwest coast.
Finally, Cabo Girão which is the highest promontory in Europe and second in the world, with 580 meters. Return to Funchal.

Our tour begins in Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint, where we can see a panoramic view over the city of Funchal.
Then we go to another viewpoint, Eira do Serrado at 1094 meters above sea level, where we will have fantastic views over Curral das Freiras.
We will then travel to Monte, where we will observe its beautiful gardens and the church.
There is a possibility to go down to Funchal in the famous toboggan (cost not included in the price)
