From our PADI registered Faro and Vilamoura diving centre we organise daily dives to a variety of carefully selected dive sites including natural and artificial reefs and wreck dives. We also offer PADI diving courses from beginners to dive masters and special courses for children aged 8 and over. All dives are carried out with the utmost respect for the underwater environment.
Faro and Vilamoura Diving Trips for Experienced Divers
If you're a certified diver you can join us on one of our general scuba dives or on a specialist dive such as a night or
wreck dive. On our regular dives we visit a number of natural rock formations and artificial reefs that are abundanct with marine life including sponges, coral, anemones, nudibranchs, sea breams, groupers, moray eels, conger eels, soles, squids, cuttlefish, octopus, toadfish, crabs and shrimps to name just a few.

Wreck diving in Faro
Off the coast of Faro there are a number of fascinating wreck sites including the largely intact remains of a downed American B-24 Liberator bomber aircraft from the Second World War now acting as an artificial reef for lots of local marine life, a 17th century ship complete with 20 cannons- access to this ship is strictly controlled and only this diving school may lead tours to it and an iron fishing vessel deliberately sunk in 1995 to create an artificial reef and haven for poutings, black sea bream, large conger eels and more. If you would like to dive at these wreck sites you must be an experienced, certified diver. We can arrange transport from Vilamoura and Quarteira.
Diving Courses
At the Quarteira and Vilamoura diving centre we offer taster sessions and a wide range of PADI diving courses including advanced courses and courses for children. Diving courses are taught throughout the year due to the favourable weather conditions in the Algarve. The courses are given to groups of 8 people by qualified instructors, who carefully follow and guide the students throughout their learning process and therefore guarantee that each one will be in safe hands! We lend a full set of equipment to students who join our diving courses (diving suit, mask, tube, vest, tank, regulator, fins and weight belt) without any additional costs.
Discover Scuba Diving
If you never tried diving before now's your opportunity. There are two options for this course: a 2 hour course including diving theory and swimming pool practice and a half day course that also includes a dive in the sea. All equipment is provided (Minimum age 10 years)
PADI Open Water Diver Pass this 31 hour course and you'll earn a ceritificate allowing you to dive up to 18m anywhere in the world! You will study 5 theory modules followed by an exam and do 5 practice dives in the pool and 4 dives in the sea. The course includes: hire of all equipment, manual, registration, and certificate. (minimum 10 years)
Diving Courses for Children
In addition to the courses above kids can learn to dive on one of these specialist courses
PADI Bubblemaker 8 to 12 year olds can get their first taste of diving with this 1 hour course with fun underwater games and basic diving skills including swimming with fins, using a mask and tube, playing games holding your breath and using basic equipment, diving equipment and swimming with it, breathing underwater
using a vest and floating with it, exercises underwater and team games. At the end children receive a certificate and stickers.
PADI Junior Open Water Diver This course follows the same programme as the general Open Water Diver but groups of 10 to 14 year olds can learn together.
Advanced Diving Courses
Already a diver? At the Quarteira and Vilamoura diving centre you can deepen your knowledge and experience with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, PADI Rescue Diver course, Emergency First Response course and the PADI Divemaster course for aspiring dive leaders.
