At the Portuguese cooking classes the chef will teach you how to prepare a traditional Portuguese meal consisting of a soup or starter, a fish dish or meat dish and a dessert. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the flavors of Portuguese cuisine and at the end of the class you will be given the full recipes so you can take a taste of Portugal home with you. This is a hands on class and you will be involved in every stage. At the end of the class you can sit down and enjoy the meal you have prepared with your new foodie friends. As this is a quintessentially Portuguese cooking experience, the meal will of course be accompanied by excellent local wines!

every week we offer a taste of gourmet Portugal, usually on Thursday evenings. In this class you will learn to cook an extra special, traditional Portuguese dish from preparation to plating. The dish chosen will depend on the best local ingredients on season. It could be smoked or fresh fish or meat with fresh vegetables and a Portuguese touch that will be sure to impress your friends or family. It is a fun, relaxed class but with the opportunity to work with an expert chef to develop your skills and learn a new recipe. After cooking we will of course all sit down to eat!

The Lisbon Market and Culinary Experience offers you a memorable and delicious day out. Accompanied by our chef you will explore on one of Lisbon’s best fresh produce markets where you will find an excellent choice of vegetables, fish and shellfish. Here we will select and buy all the ingredients for your cookery class. Back at our dedicated kitchen you will then learn to cook a full Portuguese meal with soup or starter, main course and dessert. By then you will have worked up an appetite and can tuck into the meal accompanied by a specially selected Portuguese wine. The Lisbon market and culinary experience takes about 5 hours and costs €80 per person. It usually runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

This two hour class is €45pp. The public and private Portuguese cooking classes in Lisbon are held on a regular basis so please contact us to join in. The classes run with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 14. With advance notice we can also run cooking classes in Lisbon for larger groups with extra chefs on hand to ensure that everyone gets sufficient attention.

Lisbon Food and Wines Experience is a tour where you will visit one of the most biggest Portuguese Market in Setúbal, wine tasting in a winemaker and a Cooking Class. You will visit a local market, participate on a cooking class and wine tasting with a local chef and guide.

We will visit one of the best worldwide markets located near Lisbon ( unique building, huge area, panel with more than 6000 tiles representing Setúbal´s history ).
