With this special deal, you get to keep the GoCar all day long, from when we open to when we close our store. You can have the GoCar for as long as you like, just make sure to bring it back to our shop by 6pm at the latest! This tour includes all the options that we have available!

By taking this tour you will have access to amazing viewpoints, museums, authentic/non-touristic neighbourhoods like Alfama, Graça, Mouraria and Lapa, but also the most breathtaking urban layouts, winding streets and plazas in Baixa and Alfama. You can cruise through Bairro Alto, the most bohemian area of Lisbon and Chiado, the trendiest.

You can also drive along the city’s shoreline until you get to the area of Belem. Belém is linked to Portuguese Great Age of Discoveries. This district was the site where the famous navigators used to set sail, before they discovered half of the world and started globalization. Belem nowadays is full of amazing parks and monuments that are well worth a visit. Amongst Belém’s Tour attractions there is Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument of Discoveries, Belém’s Tower , Belém Cultural Centre and the world-famous custard tarts of Belem!

During these 4 hours you’ll to be able to see the main landmarks of the city center as well as the monumental quarter of Belém, if you wish so.

If you prefer to venture by yourself (without a pre-defined circuit) you can also explore the modernity of Parque das Nações, the new area of Lisbon where EXPO 98 took place.

The area of Belém is famous for being linked to the Discoveries history, honoring the stoic navigators of all times, brave portuguese men. For centuries Portugal was one of the biggest nations in the world and this neighbourhood will always be remembered and praised as the sea port of the Golden Era.

This tour takes you through some of the most emblematic monuments and places including: the National Museum of Ancient Art, the “Fundação Oriente”, “Cordoaria Nacional”, the Jerónimos Monastery, Champalimaud Foundation, the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Electricity Museum, the MAAT and the superb Comércio Square.

Happy Hour Gocar Tour (1hr30min)– 35eur

Enjoy Lisbon’s happy hour all week long! A special offer to add some excitement to your afternoon in one of the coolest cities in Europe.  The regular price for renting a GoCar for just 1h would be €40,00, but if you pick up the yellow car during the afternoon at either 15h30 or 16h30 you’ll be lucky enough to enjoy the special price of €35,00, just as long as you bring it back to our store by 17h30 at the latest!

By far, the funniest way to explore Lisbon’s landmarks is by GoCar. As soon as you start the engine, you’ll understand the joy of driving these eccentric yellow vehicles through Lisbon hills and narrow streets. The vehicles have GPS incorporated and a recorded narrator, so you won’t have to think twice about which turn you need to take. You’ll be able to discover Lisbon’s highlights, historical facts and funny curiosities. You just need to choose from 3 of our different itineraries and tour lengths!

If you don’t manage to bring the GoCar back by 17h30 don’t worry, as it’s not the end of the world! You will simply be charged the regular rate instead of the special rate.

*To enjoy the 2h GoCar rent you should start your experience at 3.30pm. If you start at 4.30pm, you will only have 1h of fun. For both departure times, is mandatory to deliver the GoCar at 5.30pm otherwise you will be charged the regular rate instead of the special rate.

This can be combined with food and wine tasting and other activities. Beetles can be booked individually or groups of up to 32 people can be catered for.

Eat Like a King (6hrs) 325eur

We’ll first head towards the picturesque Sintra adorned with exquisite palaces, mansions and romanticism. Sintra is a World Heritage area that is a treasure for its natural attractions, monuments and unexplainable magic. You’ll see the most important landmarks in a blessing experience by Beetle while the landscape will change from mountain, to wild and rugged beaches, and city life. Sintra’s gastronomy is varied and rich and will make this experience unforgettable. If we talk about sweets we must inevitably highlight the “Queijadas de Sintra”’ (Sintra tartlets), an ancient sweet which dates back to the Middle Ages. But there are others that should be tasted: ‘”Travesseiros” or ”Fofos de Belas” in addition to jam produced according to traditional preparation methods. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to taste some of these. See the westernmost point in Europe (Cabo da Roca) and taste the flavors of Sintra before heading down the coast to Cascais, the village with the best hot dog trailer and the best views in the city. Following the coastline, you’ll watch as the ocean becomes a river, you’ll taste the special flavors of Belém, and you’ll finish off your tour with a traditional bifana (a yummy pork sandwich).
