Traditional Cooking Class – At the Portuguese cooking classes the chef will teach you how to prepare a traditional Portuguese meal consisting of a soup or starter, a fish dish or meat dish and a dessert. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the flavours of Portuguese cuisine and at the end of the class you will be given the full recipes so you can take a taste of Portugal home with you. This is a hands on class and you will be involved in every stage. At the end of the class you can sit down and enjoy the meal you have prepared with your new foodie friends. As this is a quintessentially Portuguese cooking experience, the meal will of course be accompanied by excellent local wines!
The Lisbon Market and Culinary Experience offers you a memorable and delicious day out. Accompanied by our chef you will explore on one of Lisbon’s best fresh produce markets where you will find an excellent choice of vegetables, fish and shellfish. Here we will select and buy all the ingredients for your cookery class. Back at our dedicated kitchen you will then learn to cook a full Portugu ese meal with soup or starter, main course and dessert. By then you will have worked up an appetite and can tuck into the meal accompanied by a specially selected Portuguese wine. The Lisbon market and culinary experience takes about 5 hours

Wine and Gastronomy Experience – For groups in addition to our standard programme we also offer cheese and wine tasting parties or you can try your hand at wine making! There are more than 55,000 wine brands in Portugal and the country’s wines have won many awards at major international competitions. The winemaker for a day programme is ran by an expert from an Alentejo vineyard who will introduce the Portuguese wine regions and grape varieties. There will be the chance to taste three wines. Then it’s time to work on a blend of your own which you can bottle, label and take home with you.
