The power, beauty and grace of dolphins have long captured people’s imagination and Portugal is a great place to see them. We believe that dolphins belong in their natural habitat and that the best way to see them is in the wild! Why see captive dolphins when you can see them living as nature intended!
Our cruises take place on the Sado estuary, the Troia peninsula and the Arrabida natural park. This includes the Bay of Setubal also known as the Bay of the Dolphins and recognized by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful bays in the world! The meeting point is in Setubal or in Troia (you can choose the starting point most convenient to you).
The 3 hour dolphin watching cruises offer a fantastic opportunity to observe wild dolphins in their natural habitat. The dolphins spend much of their time in the estuary hunting, playing and socializing and on most occasions we are lucky enough to be able to watch them as they swim, leap and pirouette through the water. So don’t forget to bring your camera! On board facilities include bar services, toilets, showers, lounge area and nets for laying over the water
Dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed as they are wild and free to come and go as they please however the cruises have a very high level of success as the dolphins are resident in this area. The catamaran is spacious and perfect for bringing along small children!
