If you want to explore Portugal by bike, join our Northern Portugal Cycling Tours! Our tours will take you along many places worth visiting!  The region is characterized by natural beauty, including World Heritage Sites like the Alto Douro Wine Region and the historic center of Porto.

Cycling in Northern Portugal

A region promising beautiful scenery, intriguing towns and hospitable people. It embraces the traditional regions of Minho, Trás os Montes, Alto Douro, Douro Litoral and Beira Alta. The natural parks of Peneda Geres, Montesinho and Douro, make this the perfect ‘get away from it all’ destination!

Travel along lush wooded valleys and vineyards. Marvel at elegant manor houses and spa towns. The area is also known for its mountain scenery! The views from the top are certainly worthwhile, an amazing reward after an uphill peddle! In contrast, if you prefer your route to be a bit flatter, we recommend the windswept beauty of the ‘green’ coast.

Cycling the Atlantic Coast

Cycling the Atlantic Coast is undoubtedly an unforgettable experience! Firstly for its fantastic beaches and quaint little fishing villages and traditions that continue over decades! Above all is the delicious fresh fish you can try along the  way!

Venture into the fishing grounds of Nazaré! The beach and the cliffs over the blue sea make this fishing village a unique destination. Explore Aveiro! A charming city that is known as our own little Venice thanks to its colourful Moliceiro boats and buildings in pastel shades of Art Nova!

Cycle along some of the most beautiful beaches, such as São Pedro de Moel Beach! One of the most picturesque of the Portuguese coast with a unique charm and its perfect shell shape. Mira Beach is best known for its typical wooden haystacks built by fishermen in the area at the beginning of the 20th century.

The medieval village of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and well preserved villages in Portugal with an incredible castle on top! Within its walls, you will explore a labyrinth of streets and white houses that enchant those who walk around. Taste a Ginjinha (Cherry liqueur) in a little chocolate cup! While traveling on the Atlantic coast, there will be no lack of amazing landscapes and the beauty!
