If you do not have your PADi qualifications I would recommend the Discover Scuba Dive Course which is designed to give you a taste of diving – there are 2 options: the first includes a basic diving theory class and a practice dive in the pool (€45pp), the second includes the theory and practice dive as above with a dive in the sea (€100).
We organize regular dive trips to natural rock formations, artificial reefs, with main attraction being local fauna and flora (sponges, coral, anemones, nudibranchs, sea breams, moray eels, congros, soles, squids, cuttlefish, octopus…) The dives can be up to 35m deep depending on the group’s qualifications and you are always accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced local guides. Hotel pickup within the Vilamoura and Quarteria areas is provided
The rates for standard dives are as follows:

The Open Water Diver course is usually a 4 day (2 full and 2 half days) course and is the most comprehensive- when you pass it you’ll get a certificate allowing you to diveup to 18m anywhere in the world with a diving buddy.
The course includes 9 practice dives of which 5 are in the pool to get the hang of the equipment and then 4 are in the ocean to a maximum depth of 18m. The course will be taught by English speaking instructors and the equipment you’ll use during thecourse includes: mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator and a submersible pressure gauge.
The course costs €400 and includes a complimentary manual and logbook.
