Walking in Northern Portugal

Northern Portugal is an area of outstanding natural beauty! Our walks are designed to show you the best of its dramatically rich and diverse landscapes. It is also a haven for wildlife! Get a rare taste of life as it has been lived for centuries! This region was the birthplace of the kingdom of Portugal. It is also famous for its historical sites as its port and wine production and gastronomy. We offer guided and self guided walking holidays and walking day trips in Porto and Peneda Geres!

Walking in Central Portugal

Walking in Central Portugal offers a variety of sceneries! Enjoy the striking architectureand historical sights of Lisbon! Venture out into the forests of Sintra! Enjoy coast and mountains in Cascais! Follow along cliffs and natural settings of Arrabida Park! We currently offer four self-guided walks in this region and daily walking tours of Lisbon. Cascais and Sintra and also Arrabida Natural Park!

The Algarve

Our walks give you the chance to explore the real Algarve, away from tourism or golf courses. Famous for its sun, sea and sardines, this is also a region of tranquil countryside and whitewashed villages. We have a variety of walks on offer that are designed to show you the best of the Algarve. We’ve included its many historical sites! Mountains and woodlands! Spectacular coastline! The Alentejo

Discover the Alentejo! One of Portugal’s least known regions it is a joy for walkers. You’ll walk along ancient hilltop fortresses in the east and wild, unspoiled coastline in the west. It is a haven for wildlife! You’ll find the countryside carpeted with wild flowers in springtime and golden leaves in autumn. Walking in Madeira

Madeira is a green subtropical paradise of volcanic origin. It is completely different from the Portuguese mainland. Few walking destinations offer such variety! Picturesque villages! Rugged peaks, alpine plateaus, waterfalls and gorges! Verdant valleys, orchards full of cherries, bananas and other fruit! Wild flowers in abundance and an unspoiled coastline with towering sea cliffs. As Madeira’s temperature only varies a few degrees either side of 20ºC you can enjoy walking here all year around.
